Bumble And Opening New Church

I am sure David 'Bumble' Lloyd has done most things in his life from being a professional cricketer to Umpire, Sports Commentator and after Dinner Speaker.

Opening a new church was a first for him and he performed with his usual skill and humour. The new Methodist Church Centre in North Street Crewe is unusual as it is first and foremost a Coffee Shop and Café a new church with no name.

Bumble rose to the occasion and told everyone about his Methodist upbringing, his exploits in the youth club -his career could have gone a different way – his Father was a Methodist Lay Preacher in Accrington!

He was top form with stories about beloved Geoffrey -the time he met Alice Cooper!

David cut the ribbon and the centre was open – another first!!
